Brenda Wetzel
Board Secretary
I grew up in the small town of Mora, which is about an hour north of the metro. After high school I attended St Olaf College for two years before transferring to the University of Minnesota where I finished with a business degree. After working in accounting/finance for several years I decided to change careers and took a job in human resources while completing a master’s program at the University.
My husband Al and I live in Shoreview, and I have a son Marshal, daughter Margot, and can’t forget the dog, Olive. I am semi-retired and do consulting work which provides the flexibility to spend lots of time at our lake place in rural Wisconsin. I love to read, run, hike, doodle and spend time with close friends and family. Favorite things: rocks, music, art, books, mammals and nature.
I have called this community my church home since it opened its doors. What I love most about us is our authenticity, relevancy and intention of keeping our faith real and actionable.
